Upcycling Retired Hotel Textiles into Everyday Products
Reused Remade upcycles retired hotel textiles into durable, reusable products at scale – from carrier bags and spa products to packaging solutions. Our products replace virgin materials and single-use alternatives with joyful, long-lasting, washable everyday products.

Why It Matters
In 2016, the world received a clear warning: by 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in our oceans¹. Single-use products are part of the problem. At the same time, hotels and textile service providers retire large volumes of high-quality bed linen and towels every year while the production of new materials continues to accelerate. Instead of being downcycled or recycled through a resource demanding process, these high-quality textiles get a second life as they are.² ¹ World Economic Forum, Ellen MacArthur Foundation and McKinsey & Company, The New Plastics Economy — Rethinking the future of plastics, p.17 (2016, https://www.ellenmacarthurfoundation.org/the-new-plastics-economy-rethinking-the-future-of-plastics). ²Mistra Future Fashion, report 2019.05 — Environmental and climate impact of Swedish clothing consumption.– only 5–10% saved by textile-to-textile recycling, 64% saved by upcycling.

The Circular Approach
We reuse what already exists. Retired high-quality hotel textiles are collected, sorted, cut, printed and stitched into new products, extending the life of existing fabric and putting reuse ahead of recycling.
With a Reused Remade product, you carry one with a traceable, transparent story. From hotel room to urban space. Welcome to contact us and explore what we can do for you. ¹ LCA of the Shoulder Bag Original, Miljögiraff, March 2025, verified by Sweco. – Shoulder Bag Original vs. a virgin-cotton bag.
How It Works
Textile Collection
Used hotel textiles (sheets, duvet covers, towels, table cloth) are collected from partners in Sweden and Finland.
Sorting & Processing
Hotel textiles are sorted by material and size. They are then cut in stacks with precise patterns and tools to minimize offcuts and maximize fabric use.
Yarn from Offcuts
Cutting offcuts are shredded and spun into recycled yarn, which goes back into production.
Printing
Water-based screen printing with GOTS-certified pigments, made to last through many wash cycles¹. ¹ Ecocert Greenlife, Letter of approval, No. GOTS-ECOCERT-08-00011, 2024. SDS Veechem Industries (pvt.) 2020.
Make & Trim
Our upcycled textile products are sewn and assembled in specialized production steps.
DPP Activation & Packaging
Our products are tagged with RFID, NFC or QR, linking to a Digital Product Passport with traceability and impact data. The product is then ironed, folded, packaged and labelled.
End of Life
Worn-out products can be repurposed as cleaning cloths and finally sorted as textile and handed in to textile collection for recycling.
Our Partners & Commitments
Reused Remade builds lasting relationships with textile service companies, manufacturers, and businesses to create a traceable supply chain for everyday textile products.
Textile Service Partners
We partner with textile service companies across Sweden and Finland to collect retired textiles – towels, sheets, and linens that have completed their hospitality life.
Transparent Supply Chain
Every step of production – from collection to CMT manufacturing – is traceable and documented in the Digital Product Passport.
Documented Impact
The Shoulder Bag Original has a published Environmental Product Declaration (EPD-IES-0019989:001) in the International EPD System, based on a 2025 LCA by Miljögiraff, verified by Sweco.
